03 Mar Hike to Cascade Falls in Pembroke, Virginia
Located in the Jefferson National Forest in Giles Co. Virginia, Cascade Falls is a wonderful destination for friends and family. The hike to the falls is a rather easy hike with two trail options, resting areas along the way, and many breathtaking photo opportunities.
Not only is the hike and falls a great scenic adventure, the drive to the location showcases much of what beautiful Southwest, Virginia has to offer.

The 69′ Cascade Falls are created by Little Stony Creek and other streams converging on this spot to create the surrounding pool. The area around the falls is a great spot for taking photos, going for a swim, or sunbathing on the large rock formations in the water. Here you can also make friends and meet other visitors to Cascade Falls.
What to expect when you arrive at the falls:
- 200 ft Cliff Walls which surround the falls.

Enjoy a scenic adventure while reaching an elevation of around 800′. This is a fantastic destination to visit throughout the year and enjoy seasonal changes. Fresh blooms in the Spring, luscious green in the Summer, turning of leaves in the Fall, to frozen waters in the Winter.
