Scott County uses "We're a Natural" brand in all our promotions. The idea for the LOVEWork plays on the theme of "We're a Natural" in the design. The "L" is a cowboy boot; the "O" an inner tube denoting river floats; the "V" a letter V with a Violin incorporated reflects our musical heritage. Our LOVEworks sign is made out of metal and welded together. Each letter weighs over 200 lbs.  The artists from Pioneer Art League in Clintwood, dedicated hour after hour painting the beautiful designs on each letter as a community project.  We placed landscaping edging and pebbles around the LOVE sign.  The LOVE sign features the Four Seasons- Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter with each letter showcasing Dickenson County’s tourism, culture and history.  The back of...
