1. Beartree

Beartree Campground is located just outside of Damascus, Virginia in the Mount Rogers National Recreation area. This campground allows you to fully submerge into the great outdoors. Grindstone Campground is another campground located outside of Damascus, Virginia. This campground is located in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest. Grindstone is another nature-friendly campground tucked away in the mountains. Nearby attractions include hiking, biking, fishing, and boating.

Grindstone offers sites for both tent and RV camping. Sites include a fire pit, access to showers and restrooms, as well as the ability to bring your pets.

3. Hungry Mother State Park
