Hungry Mother has a sandy beach with bathhouse, boats (fishing, canoe, kayak and paddle) and a boat launch, and a universally accessible fishing pier. Guests also enjoy its campgrounds, cabins, yurts, gift shop, visitor center, a six-bedroom family lodge that sleeps 15, hiking and biking trails, and restaurant.

Between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, all cabins and the lodge are rented by the week. 

Camping is available year-round in the Camp Burson campground. This campground is 1 mile before the park’s main entrance. Other camping: Creekside campground (E/W, 20 sites); Royal Oak campground (11 TENT sites, 1 yurt). Total campsites: 81 total in the park; 50 of which are in Camp Burson. Hungry Mother has three yurts, two of which are in Camp Burson. The other yurt is in the Royal Oak campground. Each yurt has a large wooden deck, a picnic table and a fire ring with cooking grate

Swimming and boat launch, when available, are free for overnight guests. Firewood is available for a fee. Each campsite has a round fire ring on the ground which can be used for cooking and campfires.
