The air begins to cool and the leaves begin to turn beautiful shades of red, yellow, and orange. Fall is also a great time to enjoy fun activities with your significant other. Visit a Pumpkin Patch

Go on a Hayride
Often times when visiting a pumpkin patch you’ll find other things to do such as hay-rides. For thrill-seekers, there are often “haunted” themed hay-rides which can add to the excitement. Either way, you’ll be able to get a nice view of the land while enjoying a laid back ride with your significant other.
Visit a Corn Maze
Corn mazes are a fun way to get lost and enjoy a good challenge. Take on one with your significant other, or have a friendly competition to see who can get out first! Many pumpkin patches offer great corn mazes. Some maze creators also take great pride in crafting unique and individual mazes. Some of these mazes seen from above can look like people, animals, places, or even spell out names. It’s truly a sight to see!
Take a Scenic Drive
Scenic drives are a great way to wind down, enjoy the landscape, and take in the fresh air of the country-side. Southwest Virginia is full of locations to soak in the Fall foliage and enjoy nature.
