Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most scenic drives you will take in Southwest Virginia. The Parkway is a dedicated roadway to the outdoors, scenic views, and natural beauty. The Parkway runs a total of 469 miles through North Carolina and Virginia. Along the way, you will encounter “Cherokee life and agricultural history to Southern Appalachian crafts and music.”

Floyd, Virginia is home to many fantastic attractions and is full of Southwest Virginia history. Within Floyd and the surrounding area, you’ll be able to hike, bike, eat, stay, and be entertained. Floyd is home to many musical attractions and venues which are featured and a part of The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail including the annual Floyd Fest.
