Moonshining the Arts: Reflections on Canvas
In honor of the centennial of the passage of federal Prohibition (1920-1933), Moonshining the Arts: Reflections on Canvas is a brand-new exhibit of original paintings inspired by the Prohibition era, its lessons and legacies, and the role of Franklin County, Virginia in the American moonshining story.
Moonshining the Arts: Reflections on Canvas is hosted by the Franklin County Public Library-Rocky Mount as part of 2021 Franklin County Moonshine Heritage Month.
Running April 10-May 1, the free exhibit will be open to the public during regular library hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 9AM-8PM; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – 9AM-5PM.
