The MacArthur Inn has been beautifully restored to its former grandeur. Named by President Roosevelt for General MacArthur. Nearby Attractions: * Sentinal Mountain and Snowflake are where the Confederates stationed sentinals watching federal troop movements. A large cave in the mountain was mined for salt peter to make powder. * The Narrows Duck Pond is the site of Kingrey Grist Mill which ground the county’s grain.
