In a cooperative project with Narrows Now Community Coalition, the Town of Narrows, and High School, students in the Narrows High School wood shop class adapted the NNCC sketch to a sustainable and secure design. The officially named Mill Pond, better known as the Duck Pond, seemed perfect for placement of the logically nick-named LOVEduck.
To access the LOVEDuck in downtown Narrows, there is a gravel pull off spot near the gazebo at the Duck Pond. You can also find parking at the Veterans Memorial or the Narrows Community Center, both within view of downtown Narrows. This community project incorporated students, volunteers, local government, and we are excited to welcome you to Narrows.
