LOVEwork at the SWVA Cultural Center

The beautiful Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace, plays host to the official LOVEwork of Southwest Virginia. As a 29,000-square-foot artisan gateway representing all 19 counties and four cities in Southwest Virginia, this beautiful destination center introduces a different side of Virginia to residents and visitors alike.

Southwest Virginia, known for its local artisans, craft, outdoor recreation and music, this LOVEwork installation expresses the importance of showcasing a vibrant culture of music, craft and stunning natural beauty. A region of spectacular views and rich natural resources, time spent in Southwest Virginia adds up to something much more than a simple getaway.

Southwest Virginia prides itself on helping localities, businesses, individuals, artists, nonprofits and entrepreneurs mobilize and succeed. The design and installation was done by local Southwest Virginia small business, Appalachian Reclaimed. Constructed and sourced by local materials, this sculpture spreads the LOVE and introduces residents and visitors to Southwest Virginia. While you’re visiting, don’t forget to take a photo with the #SWVA letters and spread the LOVE.
