LOVEwork at Buffafo Mountain Brewery and McDaniel’s Tavern

Our LOVEwork is made with hand-hewn oak log timbers reclaimed from the RJ Reynolds Homestead area in Patrick County, Virginia. It is believed that the trees were growing in the late 16th century and harvested in the early 17th century. The timber buildings were originally constructed in 1840’s and reclaimed in 2010. Many thanks go to Griffith Lumber and Streamline Timberframe for their help with this project. The LOVEwork design is chinked logs with an Irish shamrock as the O.

Visitors are encouraged to take photos with the LOVEworks and share with loved ones on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/VirginiaisforLovers or on Twitter with the special hashtag #LOVEVA. A complete list of the LOVEwork locations is at www.Virginia.org/LOVE.
