Lee Theatre

The Lee Theatre originally opened in 1947, closed in mid-1970s. Now, carefully restored by the Town of Pennington Gap and reopened in 2013,  Alongside The Lee, the Pennington Gap Community Center, with a full kitchen and seating for over 100, is available for event rental complimented by meeting and classrooms in the lower level. 

?The Lee offers a variety of entertainment with movies, both as regular entertainment and  private rental showings, plays through the cooperation of the Barter Theatre and Virginia’s Commission for the Arts, as well as local troupes and organizations, which have become seasonal favorites. Bands and entertainers, locally and nationally, are now showcasing their talents onstage.  Sponsors and volunteers help the Town of Pennington make all of this possible.
