Gatewood Park Campground and Reservoir is 400 scenic acres nestled in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains Region of Southwest Virginia.  Surrounded by the Jefferson National Forest and located near the Town of Pulaski, Gatewood is accessible from Interstates 81 and 77 and offers exciting recreational opportunities for the entire family.

Built as a town water impoundment in 1960, the Park provides visitors with rest and relaxation through camping, boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking and other activities provided by a full time staff.  Boat rentals are available and many camping and picnicking items may be found in the Park store.

Owned by the Town of Pulaski and operated by the Pulaski Parks and Facilities Department, Gatewood is a well managed facility with a rustic touch which compliments its wilderness setting.  The Park features crystal emerald water, active wildlife and the majestic beauty of surrounding mountain peaks.

Open for full season April thru October.
