Galax Parks and Recreation Center
The Galax Recreation center consists of an indoor pool, indoor rubber track, cardio room, weight room, community internet lab, 2 full-sized gymnasiums, senior citizen area and fitness room, multi-use activity room and after school program rooms. It offers Youth Sports, Adult Sports, Swim Team, Aquatics Programs, Instructional Classes and Senior Activities. Felts Park is a 28 acre park with 5 lit tennis courts, 1/2 mile paved walking track, 3,000 seat covered grandstand, 25 meter outdoor pool, 2 multi-use baseball/softball fields, soccer field, outdoor basketball court and an outdoor sand volleyball court.
