Home of the legendary fairy stones, this park is well known for its 168-acre lake adjoining Philpott Reservoir. The park is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Accommodations include cabins, tent camping, an equestrian campground, and a spacious lodge.

Cabin renovation project: Half the park’s cabins will be off-line over two periods beginning Dec 1, 2021, with an anticipated completion of July 31, 2023. Keep in mind a project of this magnitude could result in schedule changes. We are excited to lovingly restore these historic cabins to sustain them for future generations.
