At the center of the resort is our 7 bedroom, 7 bath, Estate home, formerly a manor house built in the late 1880’s. The newly remodeled three-story manor includes 5,400 sq. ft. of plantation style rooms and over 3000 sq. ft. of wrap around porches and balconies. All of our guestrooms, have private bathrooms, five with whirlpool jet tubs, one with double shower w/ bench seat and balconies that give the privacy and space you’re looking for. One of the five is a suite with sitting room, a sixth bedroom is in the penthouse, which is a complete 1,300 sf luxury apartment, full kitchen, living/dining room, with an additional loft bedroom, for a total of seven bedrooms. Nestled between the Appalachian and Clinch mountain ranges on over 153 acres with 1 mile bordering the North Holston River, including miles of on-site mountain bike, ATV and hiking trails.
We currently have three pull out campers and one motor home, available as vacation rentals by the day, week or month. Enjoy mountain biking, hiking, fishing, tubing, rafting and bird watching, including one of Virginia’s largest Blue Heron rookeries (now three rookeries). We are proud to announce that our ultimate outdoor experience is now listed on the National Historic Registry.
