The Big Stone Gap General Store & Café is located in the historic 1900s Wise Printing Co. building that created Big Stone Gap’s newspaper, The Post. Now this iconic structure is filled with music and traditional dancing of the Appalachian region (clog, flatfoot, and calling), theater, local artwork and crafts for sale. The healthful, locally sourced café selections include COAL-fired pizza, salads, soups, and sweet treats. Local craft beers and wines refresh and complete the unique atmosphere. The building also offers space for private gatherings, weddings, receptions, and workshops.
The Countiss Family Stage inside provides live music 4 nights a week!
