Jackson Park Inn is a truly unique hotel, converted in 2015 from a 1920’s grocery warehouse. As a historic preservation project, the renovation respected many of the building’s original features. Aged brick, exposed post and beam timbers, and wide plank wood floors are showcased throughout the hotel’s three floors. Modern features and finishes added in the renovation only serve to highlight the building’s timeless structure.
32 guest rooms and suites are finished in urban loft style, with high beamed ceilings and rough brick walls. The exterior is artfully enhanced with industrial modern accents–galvanized steel awnings and softly glowing LED lights bring a touch of the city to the beautiful downtown area of Pulaski. The warmly welcoming ground-floor lobby flows into a sunny morning coffee shop and dayroom, which converts into a tasteful lounge bar in the evening hours.
Jackson Park Inn also boasts the area’s finest casual dining restaurant, Al’s on First. Food offerings include both sweet and savory morning treats in the coffee shop, and delicious options for lunch and dinner at Al’s on First. Weekend travelers will also enjoy an interesting full breakfast menu on Saturday and sumptuous Sunday Brunch feast.
