Peters Mountain Wilderness

The 3328-acre wilderness features a mountain bog and numerous sandstone outcroppings on the crest of Peters Mountain, which affords rewarding views of the countryside. The Appalachian Trail traverses Pine Swamp Branch, and other trails also provide access to the area.
