Friday Night Backyard Jamboree: Twin Creeks Stringband

Join us behind the Floyd Country Store on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm for the the Friday Night Backyard Jamboree. This week features a live show with the Twin Creeks Stringband. Seating opens at 5:30 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. No dogs allowed, no alcohol allowed. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $8 in support of the musicians.
Twin Creeks Stringband plays old time tunes such as Sugar Hill, John Brown’s Dream, Black Mountain Rag, Red River Valley and Lee Highway Blues; Jasper Jenkins Seasonal Appropriateness Spray; Riley Baugus performs Train on the Island then invites Wendy & DeShawn Hickman up for more tunes such as Little Black Train, Last Pale Wind in the West and I Saw the Light; Jasper Jenkins Insta-Verse 2000 helps ; New Standard plays classic bluegrass such as Rough Edges, Tears, Falling Like Rain, Long Journey Home, Chris Prillaman talks about Twin Creeks Distillery and moonshine history of Franklin and Floyd County; Jared Boyd features the County Sales recording from the Camp Creek Boys.
